Services
Three Services.
One Standard of Care.
Welaxin offers three clearly defined services for mechanical watches. Each is described honestly — what it includes, how long it takes, and what it costs. Choose the one that fits your watch's situation.

How Every Service Begins
Assessment
We examine the watch — movement, case, crown, and gaskets — and describe our findings to you. We recommend the appropriate service and confirm the cost before any work begins.
Service
The movement is disassembled, cleaned, oiled, and regulated according to the service level agreed. Parts are replaced only where necessary and only with your knowledge.
Return
The watch is collected with a written service note describing the work done. We time every movement on a machine before it leaves — you know the rate it was keeping when it left the bench.
Service 01
Movement Service & Cleaning
฿4,200 per watch
A careful full service for mechanical and automatic watches. The movement is disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, fresh lubricants applied to the train and balance, then reassembled and timed on the regulator. We also check the crown, gaskets, and crystal seating, and return the watch with a short written note on its condition. Suited to everyday pieces that have not been opened in several years.
- Full disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning
- Lubrication of train wheels, escapement, and balance
- Crown, gasket, and crystal seating check
- Timing machine regulation
- Written condition note returned with watch
Service 02
Vintage Movement Overhaul
฿9,400 per watch
A deeper restoration for older calibres where wear, dried oils, or a tired mainspring affect timekeeping. We source period-appropriate parts where possible, dress worn pivots, replace the mainspring, and regulate across positions for steadier running. Intended for collectors caring for a treasured heirloom; we keep the original character intact and document each step.
- Everything in the Movement Service
- Period-appropriate parts sourcing
- Worn pivot dressing on the lathe
- Mainspring replacement
- Multi-position regulation for steadier rate
- Step-by-step documentation throughout
Service 03
Complete Case & Dial Restoration
฿14,400 per watch
A comprehensive restoration covering both the movement and the watch's appearance. Alongside a full overhaul, we gently refinish the case, re-lume hands and markers where needed, and arrange dial restoration with a trusted specialist to preserve the piece's identity. Reserved for significant or sentimental watches that deserve patient attention. We share photographs at each milestone.
- Complete Vintage Overhaul included
- Case refinishing (discussed with owner first)
- Hand and marker re-luming
- Dial restoration via trusted specialist
- Milestone photographs shared throughout
- Extended written documentation

Protocols
Standards Shared Across All Services
Secure Watch Custody
Watches are stored in a fireproof, locked cabinet when not at the bench. Workshop insurance covers all pieces in our care. Each watch is tagged and logged on intake.
Direct Communication
We contact you before any change to the agreed scope. You will not receive a surprise invoice. All updates are communicated in plain language, not technical shorthand.
Timing Verification
Every movement is checked on the timing machine before the watch is closed. The rate is confirmed within acceptable tolerance before handback.
Correct Lubricants
We stock oils and greases from watchmaking-specific suppliers. Different lubricants are applied to different parts of the movement as the calibre requires — not a single oil applied everywhere.
Documentation
Every service produces a bench record that stays with the workshop and a summary note that goes with the watch. This creates a service history even if the watch changes hands.
Originality Respect
We do not alter the character of a watch without discussion. Case polishing, dial work, and part substitutions are always decisions made with the owner, not by us alone.
